Extended application deadline for the Da Vinci Project

Are you looking for an extracurricular course on sustainability? The English-spoken Da Vinci Project allows you to look across disciplinary boundaries and to step out of your comfort zone. In this short-term honours programme (10EC) you will meet and work with students from different disciplines to collaborate on real-life sustainability related challenges, together with the involvement of important stakeholders.

Programme
In a group of five students, coming from different studyprogrammes, you will work on a specific sustainable development-related challenge. The challenges are provided by an external partner, ranging from private sector to local and national governments. The challenges focus on diverse global challenges, such as clean air, sustainable housing and waste as a resource.

You will follow workshops on Design Thinking and participate in lectures by speakers from various fields related to sustainability. During the Design Thinking workshops, you learn methods to develop your creativity. You learn to fail and discover that failure is an essential step in making progress. Via the method of Design Thinking and a learning-by-doing approach, you build a prototype as a solution for the real-life challenge. During the final meeting, you and your team pitch the solution and prototype to the external partner.
