Education kicks off in Education building Padualaan

From Monday 3 October, the new Education Building Padualaan will be in use. During the summer, much hard work went into this temporary building on Padualaan. The fourteen teaching locations in the building are primarily intended for seminar education for the Faculties of Science, Geosciences and Social and Behavioural Sciences (referred to collectively as the 'BGS faculties').

Temporary education building

The Education Building Padualaan is temporary and will remain in place for one to two years. It is one of the temporary teaching locations designed to meet the growing demand for teaching locations. Unfortunately, the teaching building was not yet available at the start of the academic year. Therefore, eight existing (meeting)rooms on campus were temporarily set up as teaching locations. The respective rooms will resume their original function from mid-October.

On uu.nl/en/education-building-padualaan you will find all practical information, such as accessibility, accessibility and opening hours. From 3 to 14 October, physical support will be available from the Audiovisual & Media Productions department for questions about the AV equipment in a teaching location.
