Digital thesis archive Humanities and UU moved to Osiris

As of 1 September 2021, the UU thesis archive will be moved to OSIRIS and Scripties Online (formerly Igitur) will no longer be available. 

Have you finished your studies after 1 September 2021? About a week after you have been informed about your graduation, you will receive an email with a link to Osiris. You can then upload the final version of your thesis in Osiris > My Affairs. Your thesis will remain in Osiris for 7 years.

Master's student? Publish your thesis

Are you a master's student? In that case, you can publish your thesis so it can be found via Google/WorldCat. Bachelor's theses are not published.

Background

Before September 2021 you had to upload your thesis to Scripties Online and the corresponding thesis archive was managed by the University Library. Scripties Online will cease to exist. Theses of Utrecht University students will eventually, if permission is granted, be available in general academic search systems such as Google (Scholar) and WorldCat. During the transition period after September 1, theses will temporarily be less easy to find in scientific search systems.
