Blackboard contract ends on 29 December 2025 – Secure your teaching materials in time

Since September 2025, all UU teaching has been taking place on Brightspace. The transition from Blackboard to this new Learning Management System has gone largely smoothly. 

The contract with Blackboard ends on 29 December 2025 at 23:59. After that, content on Blackboard will no longer be directly accessible. It is important to save all teaching materials that you want to keep in another location in good time. These include documents, presentations and readers. Your UU OneDrive is a good place to store these, for example.

Do you still have data in Blackboard's current MyPortfolio tool that you want to keep? If so, make sure you save this data to a location outside Blackboard before 29 December 2025.
