Archimedeslaan closed for car traffic from 9 to 20 October
From Monday 9 to Friday 20 October, the Archimedeslaan will be closed for car traffic in both directions due to work carried out by Eneco. Bus and bikes will still be able to pass through.
What will you notice?
- Cars wanting to exit the Utrecht Science Park (USP) in the direction of the city will be directed to Weg tot de Wetenschap.
- Cars wanting to drive to the USP via Rijnsweerd will be redirected from the Waterlinieweg near Rijnsweerd to the exit near the stadium and thus also come to the USP via the Weg tot de Wetenschap.
The university, together with the municipality, has argued for implementation during the autumn holiday week (and the week before because the work does not fit into one week). It will nevertheless cause inconvenience and extra travel time. So keep this in mind if you are traveling to and from the USP by car.
