Course registration
All new Master's students commencing a Master's programme will automatically be enrolled for the compulsory courses and the Master's Thesis. You must enrol for the optional courses of the 3rd period yourself.
As a U.S.E. Master's student you can enrol for a maximum of 3 courses per period. Not a first-year Master's student? See below (enrolment periods) what you need to do.
Step 1: Check the enrolment periods
First, check the enrolment period for the course or minor you want to sign up for.
Note! Enrolment periods may vary by faculty, so check the course planner for the enrolment deadline of your preferred course or minor.
Enrolment periods
You can register for a course during specific sign-up priods. For the current academic year, these are as follows:

Step 2: Choose two Electives
Once you know when to register for the elective courses in period 3, choose two courses from the list. You can find the list under the section 'Study Programme'. Additional information of the courses can be found in the course planner.
Step 3: Check the Timeslot of the Course
Once you find an interesting course, check if it overlaps with other courses you're taking in the same period. Courses are scheduled in timeslots. The timeslot can be find to the right of the course title in the course planner. Be sure to avoid any schedule conflicts.
Step 4: Enrol in the Course
Mark the enrollment period in your calendar and enroll as soon as possible, as spots may fill up quickly. Go to Osiris, search for the course in the catalog, click 'Enroll,' and follow the instructions.
