Schedules

The academic year at Utrecht University consists of two semesters of two teaching periods each. A full academic year therefore consists of four teaching periods. Below you can find the academic calendar of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance, where you can see the exact dates of each period.

The course schedule for semester 1 will be published at the end of July.
The course schedule for semester 2 will be published in January.
The exam schedule for semester 1 will be published at the end of July.
The exam schedule for semester 1 will be published in January .

Last-minute changes in your timetable will be sent to you by email or can be found in MyTimetable.

It is not possible to change seminar groups or course enrolment. Only in special situations the student adviser may decide to adjust your schedule if possible. If you want to make a request to adjust because of a special situation, you can contact the study advisor. You must do so within one week after publication of your personal schedule in Osiris. Exceptional situations include things such as chronic illness, athletes with IOC accreditation, disability or combined programs. As students are expected to be available 40 hours per week for full-time education, requests for schedule changes due to part-time jobs will not be taken into account. 

Please see your own personal schedule on MyTimetable for the exams of the courses for which you have registered or have automatically been enrolled. You will be notified about retakes seperately.
