The School of Law is committed to monitoring and improving the quality of education. This is why we think it is important for students to make your voice. Check out the options below.

Give your feedback

Tell us your opinion about your programme and UU as an organisation so that we can improve our teaching.

Lecturer	Talk to your lecturer or tutor during the course.
Course coordinator	Share your feedback with course coordinator during or after the course.
Digital course evaluation (Caracal)	Assess the quality of your courses periodically by completing the evaluation via Caracal. Each course is evaluated digitally once every three years. This means that you will be invited to evaluate your courses on average one period per each academic year. These evaluations are the core of our quality assurance, so we are counting on you!
Degree Programme Committee Master	Let the Degree Programme Committee know how you feel about the quality of your courses and programme, also and especially when the course isn't evaluated digitally that year. The degree programme committee has a central role in monitoring course quality.
Programme leadership	Contact your Master's programme coordinator or leader to relay feedback on courses or the programme.
Student assessor	Contact the student assessor of the School of Law via studentassessor.rgl@uu.nl. The student assessor is an important partner for the management board.
Curriculum evaluation	At the end of the academic year you can reflect on your experience during the panel talk organised by the programme leadership.
National Student Survey	Give your opinion on the overall quality of the programme by filling in the annual National Student Survey (NSE).

Get involved in the Participation Body

Participation is a job in addition to your studies. You gain experience in thinking about changes and improvements in a large organisation like UU and, above all, it is enriching for your CV.

Degree Programme Committee In the degree programme committee, you are concerned with the quality of education in your programme.
Student Assessor The student assessor advises the departmental board on student and educational matters from a student point of view.

Feedback on the UU as an organisation

Faculty Council The Faculty Council consults with the Faculty Board on faculty policies on education, research, finance, personnel & organisation.
University Council In the University Council, you consult with the UU Executive Board on central university policy in the areas of education, research, finance, personnel & organisation.

Lecturer and tutor	If you have a general complaint, go to the teacher or tutor first.
Complaints Coordinator	If you do not find a response from your lecturer for your complaint, contact the Faculty Complaints Coordinator.
Student Assessor	You can always go to your department's Student Assessor with ideas.
