Last course provision

Last course provision is a provision for students who only need to pass one more course to graduate (article 5.8 EER Bachelors and article 5.9 EER Masters).

Conditions

  • You have completed all the courses in your programme, except one of a maximum of 7.5 ECTS.
  • All your results are registered in Osiris.
  • You have fully completed the course for which you are making the request (in case of several sub-tests made at least 2 out of 3 tests).
  • You have a delay in completing your studies of more than 4 months for the Bachelors and 2 months for the Masters  without this provision.
  • The provision is only granted once. Not passed? Then you take the course at the next opportunity.

No provision is possible for:

  • Applied Economics Research project (ECB3OKVECO/ECB3OKVHEC, Bachelors) or thesis (USEMT, Masters)

How to submit a request?

What does the provision look like?

After approval of your request:

  • You will receive an email from the Board of Examiners (with the course coordinator in cc).
  • The course coordinator determines the test format.
  • The test:
    • counts 100% (replaces all previous marks);
    • covers the entire subject matter;
    • is assessed with a grade of 1-10.

When will the provision take place?

  • The course coordinator will agree a date and time with you shortly after approval.
  • The test is to be scheduled as soon as possible depending on availability.
  • In summer, scheduling depends on the availability of the examiner(s) and on other students requiring a last course provision for said course.
