Repair

If you did not pass a course, it is possible to repair the assessment(s) under certain conditions. If you have fulfilled all obligations to perform to the best of your ability during the course and your final grade is at least a (NON-rounded off) 4, then you are eligible for a repair.

The type of repair assessment depends on which assessment(s) you did not pass. You can only repair assessments that you failed. The course coordinator decides how the repair will be organised. Please check your course manual for the specific arrangements for your course.

There are three types of repairs: 

Supplementary test

With this type of repair you revise a failed assignment. The highest grade you can receive for the revised assignment is 6.0. Your final course grade is calculated by weighing the new grade of the supplementary test with the other partial grade(s) of the course. 

Partial replacement

For this type of repair you will do a new assessment/exam covering the same material of the assessment you did not pass. There is no maximum grade for the new assessment. Your final course grade is calculated by weighing the new grades of the partial replacement test with the other partial grade(s) of the course. 

Full replacement

For this type of repair, you take a new assessment covering all the course material and learning objectives and all previous assessments of the course. There is no maximum grade for the new assessment. The grade you receive for this assessment will be your new final grade for the course.
