Study Routes

When choosing major related electives in the second part of your bachelor's programme, you can use Study Routes to create a focused, themed set of courses. These routes are flexible allowing you to take multiple routes without completing all courses within one. However, you must complete a research course and a certain number of major-related electives, as outlined in the 'Graduation Requirements'.

Economics

In the Economics study route, you'll apply micro- and macroeconomic models to real-world issues, like why some countries are more advanced or have different inequality levels. You'll also explore labor markets and strategic decision-making using game theory.

Public Economics

In the Public Economics study route, you'll explore how policy and institutions shape economic activity, focusing on market failures, tax and social security systems, labour markets, and the economics of democratic decision-making.

Finance

In the Finance study route, you'll learn how financial markets work, how corporations secure finance, and the role of sustainable finance. Courses cover financial instruments, evaluation tools, and how they aid managerial decision-making.

Management

In the study route Management you will learn more about business strategy and management of innovation. You will also be well prepared to follow the U.S.E. master programmes International Management, Business Development and Entrepreneurship and Business and Social Impact.
