Your time at Utrecht University will start with an orientation programme where you get to know your fellow students, campus and the programme. You can download it below.

Know what to expect

Take a look at your study programme and the academic calendar. Your schedule/timetable will be online from end of August. Find out what course material you will need and where you can get it. 


Install digital tools and login to platforms

When you start at Utrecht University, you will receive a Solis ID and e-mail address, with which you will have access to various educational platforms that are important for your studies. For example, the MyUU app, Outlook or Brightspace. The MyUU app also contains your digital student card. 


Know who to turn to

For questions about your courses please contact your lecturer. In need of general support? Check Support and development. Contact your Study Advisor who can guide and advise you on your study (choice) and setting up an academic plan. The Student Information Desk handles practical questions.


Studying with a disability?

Please contact your study advisor as soon as possible so that facilities can be arranged on time and you can use them right from study period 1.
