Year 1
The first year of PPE consists of 8 basic courses which will familiarise you with the four disciplines contained within PPE: Philosophy, Politics, Economics and History. In the context of these courses, you will also start working on your interdisciplinary and professional skills. You take two courses per study period.
Year 2
In year 2, you will select one of four thematic packages (TP). You will also take compulsory courses in qualitative and quantitative research methods and in knowledge and reasoning. Further, you will choose two advanced (trans)disciplinary courses.

Year 3
Year 3 is dominated by the BA thesis which consists of the thesis lab, preparation for your final thesis (7.5 EC), and the final thesis itself (7.5 EC). Furthermore, in this year you have free choice in which you can take a minor, do an internship, go abroad or choose individual elective courses (45 EC).
