Diversity Council
PPE Diversity Council
How do we make sense of our differences in the PPE community? How do our differences shape our interactions and conversations with each other? How can we all facilitate the cultivation of knowledge and practices that make our community more inclusive?
The PPE Diversity Council is an independent advisory body primarily aimed at community building and the promotion of equality and inclusion within our shared learning environment. Our goal is to foster collective conversations about what it means to be(come) a community, as well as to reflect and develop responses to diversity-related tensions and frictions that might be experienced by students, teachers, and staff. In that sense, we envision ourselves functioning as a forum where we can meet, talk and even disagree.
Besides its staff members, Stefanie Beyens and Yousra Rahmouni Elidrissi, a number of students representing the PPE student community have joined this year to promote our objectives:
From year 1: Anna Arghand, Christina Hoogedeure, Sarah Jalal, Kiesha Olthuis
From year 2: Leo Lenz
From year 3: Irene Fileccia
