Below, we highlight some topics that you can also find on your programmes pages! Are you an international student? You'll find additional information at the bottom of this page.

Digital student card, MyUU app and Solis-id

All students enrolled at UU receive a digital student card. This can be found in the MyUU app. The MyUU app has everything in one place: your timetable, grades and your student card. You log in with your Solis-id.

Support, wellbeing and advice

We offer various forms of support, within your studies, but also on wellbeing.

Studying with a disability

Utrecht University wants to ensure that all students feel welcome and receive the support they need to make the most of their studies. If you have a disability, you can apply for adjustments or accommodations and support.

Humanities@Socials

Keep a close eye on your UU mail address: every month we will send you our newsletter hUUmannews full of useful information and fun events. Would you like to get a glimpse behind the scenes of what is happening at our faculty? Then follow us on Instagram @HumanitiesUU.

For international students

Going to a new country, a new university, a new culture is quite daunting, but we will try to help you have the best experience as possible. Please visit our Welcome to Utrecht website, where you can find information:

  • to prepare your stay (housing, insurance, pre-departure meetings)
  • for when you arrive (Dutch bank account, learning Dutch)
  • to get ready for your studies (grading system, teaching and assessing)
  • student life
