In case you need more time than is available during the office hours, you can make an appointment (max. 30 minutes) via the Student Desk Humanities or via the telephone office hours. Please bring a print of your Study Progress Review or dossier overview from OSIRIS and a study plan.


We prefer personal contact to email. If you do send an email, always mention your study programme and student number in the subject line. Your Study Advisor will generally answer your email within 4-5 working days.

Do you need IT assistance? First check the current status of our IT systems to see if there is a general malfunction. If not, you may contact the ITS helpdesk or the Humanities helpdesk. You may also use the IT wizard to try and solve the issues yourself.

Student Services provides information about studying and student life, regarding admission, enrolment, tuition fees, grants, student organisations, career orientation and studying abroad. Contact Student Services.


Curriculum committees are representative bodies comprised of students as well as lecturers. They are responsible for advising on the Education and Examination Regulations and its annual evaluation, guarding the quality of education and addressing problems that might arrise. If so requested or of its own accord, they advise the Board of the study programme and the dean on all academic educational matters.

The opinion of students play a key role in the tasks of the curriculum committees. Through evaluations of the several programmes and course evaluations, curriculum committees review academic education and teaching. Half of the committee is comprised of students. So do not hesitate to contact them if you have an issue that you think needs to be addressed.
