The term 'Republic of Letters' originated in the Renaissance and today refers to an international community of authors, publishers and critics, scholars and policy makers, who are involved in the process of writing, disseminating and assigning value to literature.
This course introduces you to the organisation and function of the literary field in modern times. You will learn how to set up a research project in the field of literary institutions.
You conclude your major with the BA Final Thesis. You are free to choose the subject, as long as it is part of Literary Studies research area.
You choose the remaining 45 EC in elective courses. As electives you can start with a minor, do an internship, go abroad or choose from a broad range of available courses. Make sure to check each course's entry requirements.
