When do you write your Master's thesis?

You write your thesis during the second semester of year 2. Go to the thesis course in the course catalogue


Structure

  • The thesis answers a clear research question, stated at the beginning with its scholarly relevance. 
  • The body should explain the approach, justify its adequacy, and present findings. 
  • The conclusion should analyse results in relation to the question and their broader implications. 
  • Most theses range from 40–70 pages (30,000–35,000 words, including notes, bibliography, and appendices).

 

Submitting and uploading your thesis proposal and thesis

You submit your thesis proposal as well as your actual thesis via Osiris. In Osiris, you can also track your progress and the final grade will appear. Is your thesis approved? Then you have to upload the final version in the thesis archive.
