Language specific or multilingual track
In the Master's programme Intercultural Communication you can choose between two tracks: language specific or multilingual. In the language specific track, you follow courses of one specific language. In the multilingual track, you can choose in which language(s) you want to take the courses.
General compulsory courses
Regardless of which track you choose, you will take three general compulsory courses in study period 1 and 2.
Compulsory courses per track and language
In addition to the general compulsory courses, you take
- one language specific course Intercultural Consultancy (5 EC)
- two language specific compulsory courses (10 EC)
The courses you take depend on which track and language you choose.
Master's thesis and internship
In period 3 you write your Master's thesis and in period 4 you do a compulsory internship.
Masterlanguage option
As a student of the French, Italian and Spanish track, you may replace 5-10 EC from your internship with courses from the national course offer of Masterlanguage. See below which courses you may apply for.
