Compulsory choice

You will also take an elective course in study period 1 and in study period 2. You can choose from three courses per study period.

Finally, in study period 1 and 2, you will participate in the career seminar. These are training courses that prepare you for the job market and give you the chance to meet alumni of the programme.

Internship and Master's thesis

In study period 3 and 4, you do an internship and write your thesis. An alternative to the internship is a practicum: a project in which you and a small group of fellow students map out a current social or political debate from various angles and present your findings in an advice or report.

Part-time programme

As a part-time student, you take the same courses as full-time students, but complete the programme in two years instead of one.

Exam requirements

In order to complete your Master's programme you will need to meet the exam requirements. You can find the exam requirements in the Education and Examination Regulations.
