Year 1
In the first year, you follow two core profiles. In these you will be introduced to the key topics, theories and methods of the various specialisations in the English Language and Culture programme. A core profile consists of 8 courses of 7.5 EC each. You take two courses per study period.
Year 2
In year 2, you follow a specialisation. You also take a compulsory course in study period 1 and a compulsory course in study period 3. The rest of the year consists of courses within your elective space.

Year 3
Year 3 is all about your BA thesis. It consists of the thesis lab, preparation for your final thesis, and the final thesis itself. Furthermore, in this year you have profiling space in which you can take a minor, do an internship, go abroad or choose individual elective courses.
