Graduation project
In the second semester, you will work in collaboration with a partner organisation from the cultural history or heritage sector. You will undertake a problem-based research project, which will ultimately result in a final product of direct relevance to the host organisation. Your research and final product will be tailored to the partner organisation’s specific needs and areas of expertise: examples include a podcast, a documentary or an exhibition.
When do you work on your graduation project?
You will work on your graduation project in study period 3 and 4. On Brightspace, you’ll find a comprehensive guide to the graduation project containing all the latest information. Don’t have access to Brightspace yet? Ask the Programme Coordinators for the guide.
Working for a host organisation

Please note: the graduation project combines the former ‘internship’ and ‘MA thesis’ and currently still needs to be fitted into the old administrative framework. You will therefore still see these terms used in the sections below. You can find a comprehensive guide to the final-year project, containing all the latest information, on Brightspace.
Submitting and uploading your thesis proposal and thesis
You submit your thesis proposal as well as your actual thesis via Osiris. In Osiris, you can also track your progress and the final grade will appear. Is your thesis approved? Then you have to upload the final version in the thesis archive.
