Compulsory courses and tutorials
In study period 1, you take three compulsory courses, in which you learn to understand the position of cultural history in science and cultural history methods. In study period 2, you will choose three tutorials from a wide range of topics, which will be announced in study period 1.
Final project
In the second semester, most of your time is devoted to your final project. The final project consists of an internship and a thesis. You can do the internship abroad. It is also possible to graduate within the public history project, with a finished product like a podcast, documentary or exhibition. Participation in this project is selective, please contact the Programme Coordinator for more information.
Part-time programme
You can complete the Master's programme in 2 instead of 1 year. In principle, lectures take place during the day, but some parts, such as the thesis, can be supervised in consultation and by appointment. Discuss the possibilities with the Programme Coordinator.
