Part-time students
The Course planner contains an overview of the courses in your study programme's exam requirements, including useful information about individual courses. Please also check the full-time programme.
The part-time trajectory involves doing the full time programme in 2 years. This implicates that you take 1 or 2 courses in the first semester (instead of 3). Our programme consists of two semesters, each semester is subsequently divided into 2 teaching blocks of approximately 10 weeks each. Concrete it looks like follows.
Year 1
- Block 1 (September till mid-November)
- Performance Research Lab - Act 1
- Contemporary Performance: Mapping the Field
- Block 2 (mid-November till January)
- Elective courses: Expanding Performance or/and Dramaturgical Practices
- Block 3 (February till mid-April) and 4 (mid-April till June)
- Internship
Year 2
- Block 1 (September till mid-November)
- Theories and Concepts of Theatre, Dance and Dramatutgy
- Block 2 (mid-November till January)
- Performance Research Lab - Act 2 (Preparation MA Thesis)
- Expanding Perfomance, Dramaturgical Practices or a course offered by affiliated programmes MA Arts and Culture
- Block 3 (February till mid-April) and 4 (mid-April till June)
- Master's Thesis
