The thesis supervisor is the first reviewer; a second staff member acts as second reviewer. At least one of the reviewers is affiliated with the master’s programme for which the student is registered. In most cases this will be the thesis supervisor.
Before starting your thesis, the thesis supervisor and the second reviewer will need to approve your research proposal. They will give you formal permission to commence the work by signing the Thesis protocol, which you will have to hand in at the Student Information Desk.
