• 50 EC Core Curriculum (V)
• 10 EC Research School (T1)
• 30 EC Electives, for example:
  • Courses from the pool of electives offered by the Humanities RMA programmes (check the Research Masters Electives website)
  • Courses from the MA Literature Today and the Masterlanguage programme (on condition that the number of EC from those programmes does not exceed 10 EC)
  • Courses offered by the National Research schools
  • Courses offered by other MA programmes in the Netherlands. For these courses, you will have to request approval from the Board of Examiners
• 30 EC Research Master's Thesis (T)

The programme specific part of the education and examination regulations (EER) of your start year tells you exactly what you need to fulfil in order to graduate and what you need to do if you need to make up courses. You graduate when you have fulfilled all the requirements of your examination programme.

If you wish to deviate from the curriculum, you must first ask your programme’s Board of Examiners for approval or exemption. In case your request is granted, the changes will be processed in Osiris and integrated into your exam programme and Study Progress Review.
