Curriculum

Year 1

In the first year, you follow two core profiles. In these courses, you will explore key theories, methods, knowledge, and skills related to your programme. They prepare you for an advanced module that you will take in the second year. A basic module consists of four courses. You will take two courses per study period. Additionally, you will complete a basic grammar test.

Year 2 and 3

In year 2, you start your specialisation. You also take an accompanying course related to your specialisation. In year 2 or 3, you will furthermore choose a language elective. And there is room for courses in your elective space, where you can, for example, take a minor, do an internship, or choose individual elective courses. 

In the third study period of year 3, you will first take the course From Manuscript to Thesis, which prepares you for your final thesis. After that, in the fourth study period, you can begin writing your thesis.
