Our front desk at Drift 10 is currently closed until further notice. If you have questions about your study programme, schedules, student progress review, examinations, exemptions, study abroad and your graduation, please contact the Student Information Desk Humanities and not Student Services.

You can contact Student Services for information on a wide range of issues relating to studying and student life. This includes admission, application and enrolment, tuition fees, financial assistance, working alongside your studies, insurance, schemes and facilities for outstanding student athletes, student housing and student organisations and information about studying with a disability or chronic illness.

Please review the following website carefully. It contains a clear overview of the procedure when graduating during the academic year. It also answers questions about tuition fees and the student visa. 

Yes, you can leave certified copies of your documents in the mailbox at Heidelberglaan 6 (UU for U office) under reference of your name and student number.

If you only have original documents, it is possible to schedule an appointment at our desk to have your copies certified. For more information, see below.

This is unfortunately not possible. Some housing agencies will accept the proof of (un)conditional acceptance as a place holder.

If you receive the enrolment email, you are enrolled for the programme. It depends on your programme if you need to register for courses or orientation. Please contact the student desk of your faculty after receiving your letter of enrolment for more information.

You will be informed by the Admissions Office as soon as they have processed your documents. If your file is complete and you have fulfilled all the requirements for unconditional admission, you will receive a letter of unconditional admission.

The payment of the tuition fees is a separate process. It does not mean that you are unconditionally admitted. You are required to arrange this before September 1.

We will not deduct any tuition fee if you are not enrolled or still in the process of enrolling.

Please be aware that, even if you arrange the authorization before, the first deduction is at the end of September. More information can be found on our website.

No, it is not possible to pay the tuition fee in cash. Information about the payment methods can be found on our website.

Our desk is currently only open for necessary physical appointments. You may schedule an appointment in the following situations:

-request / collect / submit a certified copy of a diploma
-handing over of documents for admission as an international student for the purpose of your application
-handing over of documents for the Central Student Administration for the purpose of your application

Please contact us by phone if you believe you need a physical appointment for a different situation.

Taking the current situation into account, we would like to ask you to review the following carefully:

-Calling and mailing is the current norm.
-Come to the appointment alone.
-Follow instructions by employees of the university.
-Mind the rules, hygienic measures and the walking routes inside our office.
-Do not come too early to the appointment and wait outside as much as possible.
-Please take others into consideration when you are inside our office.

You agree that we will keep your name and contact details for two weeks for possible contact tracing by the GGD (municipal health service).
