In previous years, students of the master's programme Applied Ethics have fulfilled interships at, for example, Triodos Bank, The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Council for Animal Affairs, The Embassee of the Netherlands in London, and at various political parties.
For more information please consult the Coordinator Internships of our department or the Programme Coordinator. In most cases, students organise their own internship, with support from the teaching staff, who have a broad network in government departments, companies and NGOs, and public institutions. Given the time needed to organise an internship, it is essential to think and decide about this early in the programme.
The Faculty of Humanities also offers many different internships. Vacancies are posted on the Faculty's Internships website. Obviously, internships should involve work that is relevant to your study in Applied Ethics.
