Internship

An internship is strongly recommended. 

Tutorials

For part-time students and students who will not do an internship, tutorials are offered. These small-group tutorials will have about 5 meetings. The Programme Coordinator will provide you with more information about them, incl. their topics, in the course of the first semester. 

Topics seminars

For those of you who like to do some more philosophy courses, it is possible (if you have sufficient background knowledge) to participate in Research Master Philosophy courses.

Other courses

In case you would like to take courses at another department of UU or another University, you need the approval of the Board of Examiners as well as the approval of the Programme Coordinator.

 Het eenjarige masterprogramma bestaat uit twee delen: enerzijds colleges onderwijskunde en pedagogie en anderzijds een grote stage op een school (4e of 5e klas). Je kunt via een aangepast masterprogramma Applied Ethics toegang krijgen tot de educatieve master. Je volgt dan de volgende onderdelen:

If you wish to deviate from the curriculum, you must first ask your programme’s Board of Examiners for approval or exemption. In case your request is granted, the changes will be processed in Osiris and integrated into your exam programme and Study Progress Review.
