The Research Master's programme Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance Studies consists of courses for students of all tracks, and courses specific for the track of your choice.

In the overview below you see in one glance which courses are specific for your track and which you will take together with students from other tracks as well.

All students take three compulsory core courses during their first year, choose at least two courses at a National Research School and write a Thesis of 30 EC.

You also take one Knowledge and Skills course in either Epigraphy or Medieval Paleography. If you have already fulfilled the Medieval Palaeography requirement during your BA, the Knowledge and Skills module may be replaced by an elective.
