Student organisations

Utrecht has many active student organisations, such as study associations, interest groups, social clubs, sports clubs, and orchestras. They organise a wide range of activities you can participate in, making it easy to meet new people. Accredited student organisations can use Utrecht University's meeting and office spaces.

What's the difference between a study association and a student association?

A study association is specifically for students in your study programme and organises study-related activities. Student associations cater to a wide variety of students. They faciltate socializing for fun or have a shared goal. Consider a student sports club, for example. Check your program for the study association, and see the bottom of this page for an overview of all student associations.
