Upcoming Events
Event Title | Details | Practical Information |
---|---|---|
Input Session on Future Dutch Language Course Set-up | Description Did you know that the UU is going to offer free Dutch language courses to international students? Two language trainers who are setting up this Dutch course would like to hear from you what’s important to international students when learning Dutch. Any wishes, needs, suggestions can be shared during this meeting. |

Borrel with Student Organisations | Description Did you know there are over 150 different student organisations at UU? The Warm Welcome Team is giving a workshop to student associations about internationalisation. Did you know that many of them would like for international students to be more involved? However, there are still some barriers to overcome, which is why we would like to meet with them (and you) and think of the best ways forward. With the input gathered from the session, we can develop a better strategy to help both the organisations and international students. |

Academic Feedback ft. Skills Lab | Did you know that there are many workshops available to help you with your academics by the Skills Lab? The Warm Welcome Team is also working on an ‘Academic Warm Welcome’ with the faculties & Skills Lab to develop workshops and content that is relevant to you (that is not being done already). This feedback will therefore focus on understanding your needs and what you would like more insight on (for e.g., presentation skills, interacting with your peers, understanding the grading system etc.,) Based on the feedback received, we will pilot several workshops at Faculty-level in the next 2 semesters. |

Warm Winter Programme - Volunteering Opportunity | The Warm Welcome Team will be organizing several activities for students during December and we would love to hear from those who would like to be involved! Do you like event planning? Do you enjoy meeting others? Do you want to help us get the cosy vibes just right? Then please let us know (email warmwelcome@uu.nl ). |
