Training Own your life - Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (Dutch)

Please note: this workshop is only offered in Dutch.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT for short, offers an approach to building mental resilience and improving your well-being during your student life. You can think of it as a form of yoga for your brain: it helps you deal with challenges more flexibly, become more emotionally balanced and make conscious choices that align with your values.

This training focuses on the question, "How can I live a valuable life despite setbacks?"

You will experience how it is to no longer see painful emotions as unwelcome disruptors of your happiness, but as valuable sources of information (acceptance).

And by exploring what your values are and how you can apply them in daily practice, you work step by step towards a life that fits who you are (commitment).

For whom?

Dutch speaking students who

  1. feel obstructed by negative thoughts or behavioral patterns,
  2. are willing (or want to be willing) to learn to deal with this differently
  3. who want to focus more on what is really important and valuable to them.
