The Dutch University Institute for Art History (NIKI)

This year, the NIKI will work with students of the NWIB Summer School to explore "Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) and the birth of modern anatomical illustration".

Set in Florence, the course is a combination of lectures and discussions on the relationship between art and science during the Renaissance. With access to the NIKI's unique library, students interested in the interdisciplinary nature of art history, culture, and science will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge by day and explore beautiful Florence by night.

For students who are interested in:

  • Art History
  • Medical History
  • Medical Humanities
