Apply HereBefore you complete the online application, there are some documents you need to prepare and combine into 1 PDF. You can download the form necessary for steps 1 and 2 here.
1. Motivation in English
Use the attached form to motivate why you want to participate in this specific honours programme.
2. Assignment
Use the attached form to read and do an assignment.
3. CV in English with photo (max 2 A4)
Include a short description of your academic performance so far, extra-curricular activities and other valuable skills or life experiences.
4. Transcript of records
Please include the transcript of your Bachelor’s programme grades and, if applicable, of your Master's programme grades.
We strive to make our programmes as diverse as possible with students from different educational backgrounds. We ask for your transcript of grades in order to get a good impression of your educational background/the subjects you have taken so far. In case of equal suitability of applicants, study results can weigh in our decision.
Create 1 PDF of these documents and name the PDF: Surname-First name-UniCityEN, example: Johnson-Maria-UniCityEN.
After the deadline has passed, the admissions committee will make a selection of students who will be invited for a personal interview.
Number of spots: 15 per city study.

- You are interested in the dynamics of the city
- You have an affinity with scientific research
- You can deal well with open frameworks and complex issues
- You want to build bridges between your discipline(s) and others as well as the reality of the city
- You want to carry out innovative research in a collective of scientists and non-scientists
- You can work and communicate well in a group setting
- You have the capacity to participate in an extra programme in addition to your master's, without your master's suffering
- You are in Utrecht during the programme and can attend all meetings
