Cross Challenge
An extremely varied practice for all! If you want to improve your general fitness and strength, this is the workout for you. You will be practising in a small group with a strong focus on technique and responsible training.
Each workout starts with an extensive preparation, which consists of a warming up and a session to increase your body’s mobility. You will then focus on the technical execution of the various exercises, to be followed by an intensive joint work-out of about 20-30 minutes. The lesson will conclude with a short cooling down session.
Self Defense
It is important to be able to stand up for yourself. To learn to fend off someone attacking you by way of various fighting techniques and to feel that you are strong. The instructor uses various exercises to make you aware of the fact that your own posture and attitude have an impact on the attitude and reaction of others. You will also be made aware of your own physical strength and you will learn specific techniques to stand firmly and to develop more strength through the use of your own body weight. You will be instructed to apply simple techniques to defend yourself in case of an emergency. The most important objective it to learn to feel safe because you know that you can trust your own body when you are in trouble. The instructor will make use of techniques derived from boxing, kick boxing, Thai boxing and Krav Maga.
During this course you will also work on your fitness, your mental resilience, strength building and control, agility and flexibility.
Zen with Yin Yoga (Dutch)
Are you looking for a moment of rest to wrap up your week nicely? Then sign up for this relaxing yin yoga class. Yin yoga is a style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods, usually 3-5 minutes. This brings your body to complete rest and improves the flexibility of connective tissues and joints. The goal of yin yoga is to improve overall balance and harmony in the body. This class is extra special when accompanied with delicious essential oils; did you know that your sense of smell is directly related to different parts of your brain that regulate your memory, emotions and hormones?
