In today’s market, companies need professionals who can combine scientific expertise with business skills to develop and market innovative products. Early in your career, mastering management skills can give you a competitive edge. The Management profile prepares you for this by offering an intensive half-year of courses in strategy, international management, marketing, business research, finance, entrepreneurship, and public procurement.
All courses are taught by discipline experts from the Utrecht University School of Economics, with additional workshops from industry leaders such as Accenture, IQVIA, and the Kempen to enhance your practical skills.

Examples of job roles that GSLS Master alumni with a Management Profile end up performing, are:

Content of the profile
The Management profile includes 7 theoretical courses, including various workshops, and comprises a total of 33 EC.
Application for the profile
The Management profile starts twice a year, in September and February. To start on September 1st, make sure to apply by May 1st. To start on February 1st, submit your application by December 1st.
NOTE | In your motivation letter, clearly indicate your preferred starting date at the top.
The Management profile is an integrated part of the Master programme Science and Business Management (SBM), therefore SBM students do not have to apply.
