General Research

Are you eager to expand your research skills and explore a second project during your Master's? This profile is perfect for students aiming for a future in academic or applied research.

You will complete a second research project (33 EC; 20 EC for Medical Imaging students), which you can carry out at Utrecht University, UMC Utrecht, or at an external organisation in the Netherlands or abroad. Additionally, you can also extend the project by using elective credits (6, 9 or 12 EC), depending on your interests and programme structure.

Want to hear first-hand experiences? Tune in to the Radio Life Sciences podcast, where coordinator Tania MorĂ¡n Luengo and students Elianne and Manuel share their insights into the General Research profile.
