Courses at a Dutch university
Non-GSLS Master's courses offered by Dutch universities are optional components of your Master’s programme. To apply for these courses, use the general application form.
If you plan to take face-to-face Master's courses outside the GSLS (whether at UU or other institutions), you must first obtain approval from your programme coordinator. To facilitate the approval process, provide comprehensive information about the course, including:
- Course level (only Master's level courses are accepted)
- Duration and intensity (hours per day)
- Supervision and guidance
- Study materials (books and resources)
- Examination procedures
- Any other relevant details
Once approved, you can include these courses as part of your elective component.
Honours courses are extracurricular and do not count towards your Master's programme. However, they will be listed on your international diploma supplement.
