About Health & Environment

Health and Environment prepares the student for a career in interdisciplinary research on the interface of the health of humans, animals and environment.

The Master’s programme addresses the positive and negative human, animal and environmental health effects of chemical, physical and infectious and non-infectious biological agents. This encompasses a broad field of research, in which all students will get a firm foundation. After compulsory courses in the fundamentals, students can choose to focus on:

  • toxicology,
  • one health, or
  • exposure science and environmental epidemiology

The programme starts with Introducing Life Sciences, a mandatory introduction week for all Master’s students of the GSLS.
