From Tuesday, June 24 to Thursday, June 26, the NATO Summit will take place in The Hague. During this week, motorists should expect severe traffic disruptions on roads in and around The Hague, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam.
Additional investigation is needed into the balustrades of the Kruyt Building. To ensure safety during these works, the area around the Kruyt Building will be cordoned off with fencing. In addition, tension straps will be installed on the balustrades above the entrances to ensure the building remains safely accessible. The works will commence on 10 June.
On Tuesday, June 10, there will be another national protest action against the cabinet's cuts to higher education. We call on students and staff to join together to send a strong message on Dam Square in Amsterdam. Because of the introduction of the student loan system in the Netherlands, financial funds became available to enhance the quality of higher education. In 2019 the Faculty of Science received these Quality Funds. Since then, plans have been made on how the money will be used.
