Courses
The courses below are 7,5 EC (unless indicated otherwise). You take 15 EC per period from different timeslots. You have to register for courses yourself.
Courses
In the first year you take eight compulsory courses (60 EC). You have to choose between two courses in the second period. In the first period of the second year you take two more compulsory courses (15 EC). For the rest of the year you will be busy with your Master's thesis (30-45 EC). You can choose to do a Master's thesis for 30 EC or 45 EC. If you chose 30 EC, you have to take two elective courses (15 EC) to make up for the missing credits. You can also choose to combine your thesis with an internship.
Electives
It is possible to take electives for a maximum of 15 EC. Electives allow you to specialise in a field of your interest and can be related to your thesis topic. These must be relevant to your programme. You can choose from the pre-approved electives (below). It is possible to take other courses, offered by Utrecht University, another Dutch university, or a university abroad. Note that if you don’t have an EU-EEA-nationality, you may have to pay a considerable fee to take electives outside Utrecht University.
