The courses below are 7,5 EC (unless indicated otherwise). You take 15 EC per period from different timeslots. You have to register for courses yourself.
Year 1 cohort 2023
In the first year you take four compulsory courses (30 EC) of the general part of the Sustainable Development programme, in which you will learn about sustainability development theories, issues and research approaches. You take four courses within one of the four tracks (30 EC). The compulsory courses will give you both a theoretical depth in the subject matter and a firm foundation in research methods, techniques and skills.
Year 2 Cohort 2022 and earlier
In year two you choose two elective courses and you will write your Master's thesis (30 EC or 45 EC).A research internship can be part of this final thesis. Please read the regulations for selecting elective courses in the Study Guide
