Job market orientation

The integrated module Academic Professional extensively addresses job market orientation.

The primary focus lies on the student's professional identity: that is, forming a view of who you are as a professional and being able to articulate this, orally or in writing, and taking your first effective steps onto the job market.

Students also explore the professional profile of NVO General Educationalist and consider their own affinity with this profile and their motivation for achieving it.

Lectures and scheduled meetings are, in principle, compulsory for all Youth, Education and Society students, but there is room for individual choices within the job market orientation component, for example going on Youth, Education and Society excursions, visiting research or educational conferences, or attending lectures.

More information can be found in the course manual of Academic Professional at the Blackboard community.
