The Student Information Point (STIP) is the first point of contact for students and interested others. It is the place to go with questions about your (future) degree programme at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences.

Contact a student advisor if you have any study-related questions or problems. This can include matters related to: planning your studies, doubts about your studies, regulations or falling behind due to personal circumstances.
The student advisors are not dedicated to a particular degree programme. There are seven student advisors who are available to all students, regardless of their degree programme.
A student advisor can provide advice, support and information in a confidential meeting and is available during the designated telephone office hours or walk-in hours. It is also possible to make an individual appointment with a student advisor.

Opening hours
You can contact us in the following ways:
- Walk-in consultation hours (in room A006/A008 of the Sjoerd Groenman building):
- Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
- Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
- Consultation hours by telephone, tel. 030 253 4876 (every working day from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm).

The International office offers information and support for incoming and outgoing exchange students of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Contact us if you have any questions about studying abroad on a temporary basis.

Make an appointment
For short questions (+/- 10 minutes) or a consultation meeting (+/- 30 minutes) you can make an appointment with one of the International Officers (in Dutch). Consultation meetings are for students who are not yet certain of their exchange destination(s) and would like to discuss the possibilities. For all other questions, you can make a 10-minute appointment.
Need a signature or documents? You don’t need to make an appointment, you can e-mail us your forms and/or document requests via io.sbs@uu.nl.
The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences has plenty of (computer) study places in the Martinus J. Langeveld building, the Sjoerd Groenman building, the Marinus Ruppert building and the Willem C. van Unnik building.

The Skills Lab is there to help you if you'd like to know more about developing your academic skills or if you encounter any problem during your studies. We try to map out as clearly as possible what's on offer in terms of trainings, workshops, classes, individual guidance and tools.
The Facilities Service Centre (FSC) is responsible for providing facility services at Utrecht University, such as audiovisual teaching support, catering, room hire, cleaning, waste removal, post and transport, building care and maintenance.
You can use the FSC service request form for all reports relating to facilities.
