The Master’s programme in Social Challenges, Policies and Interventions (SCPI) comprises one year (60 EC). The programme includes various courses (35 EC in total) and a Master’s Project consisting of both an internship (10 EC) and a thesis (15 EC). Our curriculum:
- teaches you how to research and address social challenges in an interdisciplinary way;
- offers you the opportunity to specialise in a social challenge and / or to become an intervention expert able to work on different social challenges;
- teaches you how to work as an academic professional who is able to convert research into policy.
Throughout the programme, you will participate in courses that add to both your knowledge base (e.g. regarding interdisciplinarity, social challenges, and social change approaches) as well as to your skills set (e.g. stakeholder mapping, professional ethics, science communication).
