Electives and research experience
Year two of the MSBBSS programme, and in particular the summer break between the first and second year, leaves room for electives.
Electives comprise, for instance, additional courses which are part of curricula of other Master's programmes inside and outside Utrecht University, summer school courses, and internships. Electives are chosen individually, according to the specific needs of each student, to provide useful additional expertise and work experience.
How to enrol
Halfway the first semester in the first year, the coordinator will inform you about the different options and you can choose your electives. How to to this depends on whether you enrol in a predefined track or in an additional course.
