Elective course

Part of the Research Master's programme is an Elective course. Within the framework of this course, students choose an elective, sometimes also outside the faculty / university, or participate in the research network of their programme. For more information consult the respective course manual.

How to enrol in an elective course

  1. Discuss your options with the coordinator of the Elective course. He / she needs to approve the content of the course, and can give you advice in this matter.
  2. Inform yourself on how to enrol in courses you intend to take, and make sure you are enrolled in time. Deadlines and procedures may differ per institute / organisation, so start orientating early on.
  3. Make sure to collect all necessary certificates and provide them to the Elective coordinator. He / she can make sure everything is registered correctly.

Deadline

Do make sure to have all the necessary information and certificates at the Elective course coordinator before April 15. Otherwise problems may occur with graduating.

Courses of other Research Master's programmes

The Graduate School aims to make it possible for Research Master's students to participate in one of the courses of the other Research Master's programmes.
