Curriculum outline

The two-year programme is divided into four semesters. The curriculum comprises three major components: theoretical models and advanced theoretical topics, advanced research methods, and the preparation of a Master's thesis. In the second year, your programme will differ if you opt for the clinical track instead of the regular track.

Year 1

The first year of DaSCA consists of general courses on theory and research, methodology and statistics courses, and research practica. You will learn to integrate theories (from both the theoretical and research courses) and methods (from the methodology and statistics courses) in specific assignments for the research practicals.

Year 2 (regular track)

The second year of DaSCA includes a course on academic skills and methodology and statistics, a course on assessment, treatment, and evaluation, an elective course, the internship, and writing a Master's research thesis.

Year 2 (clinical track)

Are you also interested in clinical work, in addition to research? There is a possibility to follow a clinical track within DaSCA. As an important part of the clinical track involves a clinical internship. Read the general information about the clinical track for more details.
